On September 25, I arrived at Hotaka 穂高駅 station, from Nagoya to Hotaka, changing train at Matsumoto, takes about 2 hours, the transfer was very smooth, just at platform 6.

Bus stop to Nakabusa onsen
Reaching Hotaka 穂高駅station, the bus stop is just outside the station on the left hand side. The bus to Nakabusa onsen 中房温泉 was still one hour away, I went for lunch at this cute restaurant, inside, there were many climbers like customers:)
The set lunch was JPY 1320, really good value. After that, I went back to bus stop and met three people from Osaka, they were also going to climb Tsubagoro take.
The bus to Nakabusa onsen takes about one hour. The onsen hotel is located right at bottom of mountain, next to mountain climbing entrance.

The onsen hotel is bit old, but it provides nice ambience and all the necessaries for mountain climbers The food and onsens are wonderful.

After a nice dinner, I had onsen and slept early , ready for the climbing.
